Service is really good - great staff The mochi churros dessert is pretty damn good as well as the spicy tuna dip with rice crisps. All the rolls were okay - nothing to rave about. The rice cracker coated crunchy nori roll with spicy crab ended up being my fav of the 5 I’d skip the corn ribs (it was a summer special) and the tempura misto (felt like it was mostly vegetables)

I loved dining here. The food is fresh and delicious. The use of real wasabi is perfect in the rolls. They are the best hand rolls I’ve had so far. Entire menu is gluten free. They offer a gluten free beer! Service was wonderful. Love the ambiance inside, and they offer a little patio area first come first serve. Definitely try to make a reservation!

I really enjoyed eating here. I ordered a signature temakis and it’s really fresh and seasoned just right. The shrimp one I didn’t expect to like very much but it was great. And the price is pretty reasonable for 5 temakis. One thing I didn’t like is that you kind of had to get 5 temakis? Overall I would come back here dine again to try other temakis

cute bites, you pick 5 temaki pieces and they have an assortment of appetizers. Our server was amazing and super attentive while balancing many other customers :). Each roll was super worth it and I left feeling satisfied. *** definitely recommend booking a reservation as it is a smaller establishment and super packed ***

Tried the Signature Set (5 handrolls) and everything was super tasty! Beautiful presentation, fresh ingredients — great quality for the price. The coconut shrimp handroll was a standout — didn’t expect it to be that good. A full-on flavor and texture adventure… I loved it so much I ordered it twice! The service was great — friendly and on point. My only note is that the seating felt a bit tight, with people seated very close on both sides. Not the most spacious vibe, but overall a really solid experience. I’d definitely go back!

I’ve never really been a big sushi guy, but my girlfriend really wanted to try this place out. We sat at the counter and they have you pick out 5 sushi hand rolls each. Turns out, they’re all very very good. I think my favorite was the coconut shrimp. The one that surprised me the most, however, was the salmon Serrano. It had a lot of kick and was really tasty. I think my least favorite of the group was the XO Scallop, but it was still tasty. If sushi is your thing, Nami Nori is a fun experience with a lot of different flavors and combinations to try.

Stopped by for lunch with coworkers around 2pm — ended up waiting about 30 minutes since reservations were fully booked. Once seated at the sushi bar, the vibe was really nice: clean, modern, and stylish inside. The menu is simple, not too many items, but they also have drinks (including alcohol). I went with the five-piece set (about $30–35). Portions were decent and I left feeling full. The fish was fresh, but not every roll hit the mark for me. Some flavor combos felt a little overhyped — one had a sesame/soy combo that leaned too salty, another had jalapeño that overpowered the fish, and there was a roll with lemon zest that was just… a bit odd. Overall, not a bad spot for lunch and definitely an experience to try once. I might come back for dinner to see if it’s different, but I wouldn’t call it one of the best hand roll places in NYC. Worth checking out for the ambiance and presentation, though!

Overall clean aesthetic and friendly staff. We were one of the last tables of the night and they did not make us feel rushed or diminish the experience. I opted for the signature set ($32) within the Temaki Sets. I found the flavors to be unique in each roll and most of the fish tasted fresh. The chef preparing our rolls did a great job with pacing and presentation of each dish. Below is a breakdown of what we ordered, along with my thoughts. Asterisks (*) indicate items I especially enjoyed and would recommend ordering again: *Spicy Tuna Dip ($16) - Excellent presentation and flavor on this dish. The rice chips paired well with the tuna. Definitely a must-order Matcharita ($12) - Refreshing, not too sweet, and nice for sips between the handrolls. I picked up earthy notes from the matcha along with cucumber and lime but not much else. Tuna Poke - Clean bite of tuna with a mayo-based sauce and some nice crunch from the shallots. Salmon Serrano - The matchsticks of ginger and slight fishiness from the salmon dominated this one. I usually love salmon handrolls, but this wasn't doing it for me. *X.O. Scallop - A standout. Every element in this roll popped with flavor and brightness. *Coconut Shrimp - A surprise favorite. Great contrast in textures and toppings made this one a winner. Cucumber Black Sesame - The most unique handroll in the set. The black sesame had a nut-butter-like consistency, and the cucumbers were super crisp. *Mochurros ($8) - I would’ve happily eaten a whole order myself. Crispy, chewy, and light churros paired perfectly with the tart lemon curd. Don’t think twice, order one per person.
